双坑村位于闽江中游北岸，是水口水电站库区的移民重点村。村名取自两条穿村而过的山坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1990年，村子由闽江南岸整村搬迁到北岸。[1]

1949年设双坑村，属第五区；1958年改属谷口公社，成立双坑大队；1984年改为莪洋镇下的双坑村委会，1990年改属黄田镇，至今仍属黄田镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2012年，双坑村既是省级库区村环境综合整治的示范点，也是古田县美丽乡村建设的示范村；同时，县里选它作「人才兴村富农三年双倍增」工程的试点。[1]

2020年11月，村子获授「第六届全国文明村镇」称号；2020年12月，村里的马蹄笋入选「2019年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」名单。[1]

2025年3月，双坑村列入「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」名单。[1]
