筹洋村是大桥镇下辖的行政村，与广胜村、门里村相邻[1]。村名先后有过两次变化：村址田洋狭小，起初叫小洋，后因开荒种植甘薯而称土洋；此后人们在环山一带种植毛竹，取「竹」与「寿」合成的「筹」字，改名筹洋[1]。
2024年1月，该村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
