牛峰村是大桥镇下辖的行政村，与横坑村、张洋村相邻[1]。村名来自驻地附近牛头岭上的一座山峰[1]。

2021年11月，牛峰村获福建省爱卫办认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1949年牛峰隶属横洋区；1958年划入大桥公社，成为牛峰大队；1984年起称大桥镇牛峰村委会[1]。
