兰坦村位于古田与闽清两县交界处，离大桥镇区，博雅地名网称约15公里，百度百科称约12公里[1][2]。百度百科载其别名蓝坦、林坦[2]。

村庄虽在山区，地势却较为平坦，林木资源丰富，村名的来历与此有关：「林」与「兰」在方言中读音相同[1]。该村是老区基点村，2021年11月获福建省爱卫办认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1949年兰坦列入第四区；1958年划入大桥公社，成为兰坦大队；1984年起称大桥镇兰坦村委会[1]。
