丘地村离大桥镇区约10公里，华侨众多，也是革命老区村[1]。村名的来历是村子四面环山，地属丘陵[1]。

村中的丘地大英祖厝是清代建造的陈姓家庙，二层，依地势而建，2025年12月31日被列为「福建省第十一批省级文物保护单位」[2]。该村于2021年11月被福建省爱卫办认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1949年丘地列入第四区；1958年划归大桥公社，称丘地大队；1984年起称大桥镇丘地村委会[1]。
