苏洋厝村位于古田县城西街道，距县城约2公里，离城西街道办事处约1公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名因田洋多为苏姓所有，祖厝建在苏姓的田洋之上而得名。[1] 村在1984年改设苏洋厝村委会，此前1958年设过苏洋厝大队；1952年改属第十一区，1949年则属第一区。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省卫生村的称号于2021年11月授予苏洋厝村，授予方为福建省爱卫部门。[1]
