局下村位于古田县城西郊，属城西街道，202省道、城西大道和京台高速公路穿村而过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传此地旧有一处钱行的局，建在居所之下，村名由此而来。[1] 村在宋时属崇礼里，明清为八都二保，民国时期属华峰乡，后改称局华乡；解放初属第四区，后并入古田第一区；1952年属第十一区，1958年属城关人民公社，1984年改属松吉乡。[1]

博雅地名网的历史条写2004年改为城西街道局下村委会，另一页作2006年归城西街道办事处管辖。[1][2]
