地名由来[edit]

此地从前有姓武的人居住，因以得名武岩。[1]

沿革[edit]

1979年分设武岩大队，全村当时总人口635人；1983年改称武岩村民委员会；1986年北壁设乡后划归北壁乡管辖。[2]

交通[edit]

武岩村至四门桥村的乡级公路于1998年3月通车。其中武岩村至四门桥村一段长7.6公里，连同沿各自然村的路段，全长10.1公里。[2]

产业[edit]

村里过去以茶叶生产为主，后改种杨梅、李、柿子及芦柑等水果，各类果树约1000多亩，「武岩芦柑」是村中的特产。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年6月，武岩村入选福建省第四批「高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
