东冲村处在霞浦县南端，位于东冲半岛的尽头，周围环海三面、靠山一面。全村621户，辖11个自然村，是北壁乡下辖的行政村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子位于东冲半岛尾端，是船舶通行的要冲，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年（民国二十三年）设立东冲镇。东冲很早就是受重视的口岸。[2]

1958年设东冲生产大队；1984年撤销大队，设立东冲村民委员会。[1]

人文与遗迹[edit]

东冲海关的一位帮办曾在虎头岗的断壁上刻下「国货救国」四个大字。[2]

1949年后，东冲口设立海军基地。[2]

产业[edit]

海上养殖是村里的支柱产业。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2002年度，霞浦县委、霞浦县人民政府授予村庄「文明村」称号。[2]

2021年11月，该村列入2021年福建省卫生村名单。[1]

2022年10月，东冲村入选「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年2月，东冲村成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]
