村子原名住龙桥。据博雅地名网，村子地处四水交汇之处，因此改称会洋。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设会洋生产大队；1984年撤销生产大队，设立会洋村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，该村列入2021年福建省卫生村名单。[1]
