前宅村位于柏洋乡东部，地处霞浦、霞鼎两县交界，属老区基点村和库区村。全村辖4个自然村，共286户1015人（村情简介，未注年份）。[1][2]
2020年12月，村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单；2021年11月，村被授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村前原有一座老宅子，村名由此而来。[1]
地理环境与经济[edit]
全村耕地842亩，其中水田809亩，旱地33亩，森林覆盖率为60%。[2]
村内出产茶叶、毛竹、马铃薯、香菇、蘑菇、水稻和太子参。2008年村农民人均纯收入为5092.8元。[2]
