吴洋村位于柏洋乡西北部梧峰山腰，东面与柏洋村接壤，南面与陈墩村、谢墩村相邻，西面与周厝坑村为邻，北面接大岭村和西坑村。村落面积5.5平方千米，辖6个自然村，共179户679人（村情简介，未注年份）。[1][2]
2021年12月，村被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2022年10月，吴洋村被省农业农村厅列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村委驻地的居民都姓吴，村名由此而来。[1]
地理环境与经济[edit]
村地处偏僻，交通不便。
水田637亩与旱地126亩合计耕地763亩。2011年，村里农民人均纯收入为4970元。主要物产有毛竹、木材、茶叶和太子参，粮食以水稻、地瓜为主。[2]
