历史沿革[edit]
村名取自村头的柘树。村中先祖自唐末迁居于此，至今已有一千余年。1958年8月，村中设柘头生产大队；1984年，大队改为柘头村。[1][2]
地理环境与经济[edit]
村子的土地总面积为6636亩，其中林地占6156亩，农田340亩，茶园150亩。[2]
主要产业为水稻、茶叶和太子参的种植，村民收入以种植业及外出劳务为主。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中建有闽东谢翱文化园，占地2亩。园内立有谢翱全身花岗岩雕像，另有三十余位省内外书法家书写的碑林。该园是村里的爱国主义教育阵地。[2]
