洋中村位于柏洋乡南部，与福安市、崇儒乡交界，距柏洋乡政府9.2公里。村辖7个自然村，共286户1056人，党员17名（村情简介，未注年份）。[1][2]

2015年10月，洋中村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是村里有一片“洋”位于田坪之上。1958年8月，村中设洋中生产大队；1984年，大队改为洋中村。[1]

地理环境与经济[edit]

村中水田451亩，旱地363亩，耕地合计814亩。[2]

村民主要的物产是竹木、茶叶、太子参、马铃薯和畜牧。2011年村农民人均纯收入为5029元。[2]
