谢墩村在霞浦西北，属本县十二处老区行政基点村之一；距县城43公里，与福安市松罗乡毗邻。村辖9个自然村，全村360户、1700多人，党员46人（村情简介，未注年份）。[1][2]
2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年11月，村被认定为「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为茶叶；2025年5月，又被确认为「2024年度宁德市“一村一品”专业村」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村中姓谢的人家居住，村庄位于山墩旁边，村名由此而来。1958年8月，村中设谢墩生产大队；1984年，大队改为谢墩村。[1]
1934年革命鼎盛时期，闽东的马立峰、叶飞、范式人等领导人多次到村中开展革命活动，并在此设立上西区苏维埃政府。[2]
经济[edit]
农民耕地900亩，林地约2万亩，茶园800亩。一个由100多户茶农组成的股份制茶叶合作社拥有茶园230多亩。当地以粮食、茶叶、食用菌、葡萄和蔬菜为主要产业。[2]
