洋沙溪村位于福建省宁德市霞浦县北部，在崇儒乡东北部，离县城16公里，离乡政府11公里[1]。村庄是革命老区的红色基点村，也是水库下游的重点影响村[1]。村名的来历，据博雅地名网称，是村前有一条溪，溪中多沙[2]。

自然与设施[edit]

村内有一座二级水电站[1]。村口的左岭肖、沙坑里两处，立有一方宋代青石碑，村里以古石路道与县城相连，路程约11公里[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1958年初，此地属溪西坪园乡；1958年下半年至1959年下半年为崇儒小公社坪园大队；1959年下半年至1966年初属崇儒区坪园公社；1966年下半年划归崇儒公社，成为洋沙溪大队；1984年改设洋沙溪村委会[2]。
