笕下村位于福建省宁德市霞浦县崇儒乡西部，县城约33公里，乡政府约20公里[1]。村里既是少数民族村，也是老区的行政基点村[1]。全村下辖4个自然村，分别为笕下、樟坑、槟树门和朝阳新村[1]。村名的来历，据博雅地名网称，是古时用一根长管引水，村庄居于水管下方，故名笕下[1]。

物产[edit]

村内有毛竹林、葡萄、油茶、脐橙和茶叶等，是「元宵茶」母株的所在地[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，此地设笕下生产大队；1984年，大队改为笕下村，并设立村民委员会[1]。
