坪园村位于福建省宁德市霞浦县崇儒乡东北部，属丘陵地区，距崇儒乡政府所在地7公里[1]。全村下辖9个自然村[1]。村名由来，据博雅地名网称，是因村前有一大片平坦的园地，故名坪园[1]。

1958年，此地设坪园生产大队；1984年，大队改为坪园村，并设立村民委员会[1]。

村民收入主要靠种植业，茶叶和毛竹是主要作物[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2025年11月，坪园村被确定为「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」，产品为茶叶[1]。
