崇儒村地处霞浦西北部山地，离城关12公里，乡政府即设在村中，海拔平均110米[1]。全村下辖5个自然村[1]。村名的来历，据博雅地名网称，是相传此地曾出过十八名学士，为尊崇儒学而取名崇儒[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，此地设崇儒生产大队；1984年，大队改称崇儒村，选举产生村民委员会[1]。博雅地名网记，村名在「批林批孔」期间曾改称上村，此后已复名[1]。

经济[edit]

芙蓉李是村内的特色产品，已成功申请国家地理标志证明商标[1]，百度百科也将此村列为芙蓉李种植专业村[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2013年7月，农业部认定崇儒村为「第三批全国一村一品示范村镇」，产品为崇儒畲山芙蓉李[1]。2020年12月，崇儒村入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单，产品为芙蓉李[1]。福建省爱卫办于2021年11月确定崇儒村为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。
