新村是福建省宁德市霞浦县崇儒畲族乡西北部的一个行政村，海拔110米，县城在11公里外，乡政府仅1公里[1]。全村下辖6个自然村[1]。村名原为墓仓，因村边墓葬较多、建有看墓的厝屋，文革后改称新村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1958年，此地属溪西区崇儒乡，称新村村；1958年下半年至1959年下半年，此地归崇儒公社，为上村大队；此后到1966年初，改称新村大队，仍属崇儒公社；1984年改设新村村民委员会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

阿里研究院发布的「2020年淘宝村」名单，于2020年9月公布，新村村在列[1]。新村村还见于南京大学空间规划研究中心、阿里研究院合作推出的「2021年淘宝村」名单（2021年10月发布）[1]。2022年10月，「2022年淘宝村」名单发布，新村村再次入选[1]。
