洋尾兰村位于福建省宁德市霞浦县北部，乡政府相距7.7公里，与县道相距3公里，与高速入口相距12公里[1]。全村辖6个村民小组[1]。村名由来，据博雅地名网称，是村前溪水流到田坪尾后被山坡拦住，因读音相近而得名[2]。

交通与设施[edit]

各自然村及产业区都已通公路，农户均用上了安全的自来水[1]。村内建有水库，并有龙潭瀑布，溪水从悬崖上落入水潭[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，此地设洋尾兰生产大队；1984年，大队改称洋尾兰村，选举产生村民委员会[2]。
