村子国土面积5.8平方公里，耕地675亩。道路、电力、饮水与网络通信均已通达，主导产业为茶叶与果蔬种植[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，墩后村获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
1958年先设墩后生产大队；1984年政社分开，大队改为墩后村，并组建村民委员会[2]。
