主导产业为茶叶、果蔬、养殖与外出务工。耕地1189亩，林、果、茶合计7664亩，森林覆盖率72.3%[1]。
文化与荣誉[edit]
2017年3月，国家民委命名茶岗村为第二批中国少数民族特色村寨[1]。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办确认本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。2022年10月，茶岗村列入第六批中国传统村落，同月，省农业农村厅又把它列入第二批乡村治理示范村镇[1]。2022年12月，茶岗村被确定为2022年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（白茶）[1]。
2025年3月，茶岗村获评第七届全国文明村镇，同时列名于省级乡村振兴示范村的第一批名单[1]。
