虞公亭村在镇西，离镇区约5公里。村名来自旧时村中的虞公庙，庙前原有一座凉亭。[1]

村以养殖紫菜、内海捕捞和种植农作物为主要收入来源。村中修有通往码头的道路与公厕，并投资36万元建成长1.8公里的虞公亭三级渔港。[1]
