东山村在镇西部，系整村搬迁集中建成的少数民族村寨，居民以畲族为多。博雅地名网载全村420户1620人，其中畲族1150人。[1][2]

概况[edit]

村中居民来自东山、三坪、二坑三个村的造福工程搬迁户。2020年，农民人均可支配收入为20300元，村财为20.8万元。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1997年6月与1998年4月，习近平同志两次到东山调研茅草房搬迁问题，提出集中搬迁的办法。此后，22户73人完成了茅草屋改造，另有155户620人经造福工程迁入新址。[2]

东山、三坪、二坑三个联建村合并党组织，成立东山党总支，并推行支部联姻、村村联建的做法。[2]

经济[edit]

村民以紫菜养殖与加工、近海捕捞和农业种植为生。博雅地名网载紫菜养殖面积约2200亩，茶园超过630亩，设有专业合作社23家，另有紫菜与茶叶加工厂。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

墩柄自然村有百年古树，村道与大龙溪相伴，村附近的大济禅寺也是当地的自然与人文资源之一。村内建有畲族文化墙与畲歌楼。[2]

荣誉[edit]

村曾被评为中国少数民族特色村寨，并获全国乡村治理示范村、国家森林乡村的称号；2018年列为省级乡村振兴试点村。[2]
