烽火村位于三沙镇东部，距三沙镇区5公里，是一个岛上村庄，四面环水。村下辖烽火、田澳、湖里、协澳四个自然村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

岛上地势平缓，礁石与山林相间，海岸曲折，澳口众多，博雅地名网称其曲折海岸线长达18公里。村内的协澳一带有浪蚀礁石与风化石，田澳有沙滩。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄旧属福宁府，是闽江海疆的军事要地。唐武德年间，岛上设宁远镇；唐长安年间设赤岸镇，都有士兵驻守，旧垒至今尚存。宋代驻军挖凿的古井，井栏上刻有「淳熙十三年正月初七日修武郎造」的铭文。[2]

经济[edit]

以渔业捕捞与养殖为主。烽火村是闽东的章鱼生产基地，产量全部销往日本；此外还捕捞墨鱼、大黄鱼、鲥鱼、石斑鱼等，并发展绿色生态网箱养鱼。农业种植仅130亩。[2]
