金洋村位于三沙镇东面沙古公路中段，东面与古镇村相邻，西面与镇区接壤，距霞浦县城33公里。村下辖金山、柳周湾、洋坪里3个自然村，共8个村民小组。[1]

村原有耕地720亩。村内设有霞浦县第三中学，学校创办于1958年，位于洋坪里，是闽东地区规模较大的中学之一。[2]
经济[edit]
紫菜养殖是村中的支柱产业，养殖面积为3000亩。交通运输、餐饮、建筑与劳务等行业也随之发展。[2]
