外浒村位于东冲半岛海边，属下浒镇，离镇区约1公里，村中有外浒城堡。[1][2]

外浒村原属下浒村委会，后分出单设，又位于海边的外围，村名取其意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1997年，外浒村从下浒村委会分出，另设外浒村委会。[1]

村民1366人，分属336户。全村耕地为旱地441亩与水田102亩，合计543亩。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

外浒城堡位于本村，明嘉靖三十四年（1555年）始建，平面呈椭圆形，城墙以鹅卵石和块石垒砌，周长648米。城堡东、北两面各有一座长方形城门，西、南各有一座拱形城门。[1][2][3]

城墙的高度，百度百科作高4.5至5米，博雅地名网作通高6米，两说并列。城堡于2013年1月28日列入第八批福建省文物保护单位。[1][2]

外浒沙滩在本村东侧，呈新月形，南北长约1.6千米，东西宽约0.2千米，总面积约0.35平方千米。[4]
