先人定居此地，见环境优美，生活富足平安，村名取其意。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年8月公社化时期，此地设为居安生产大队。1984年8月恢复乡政府，大队随即改称居安村并组成村民委员会，原大队就此撤销。[1]

村民780人，分属228户。耕地共495亩，水田占119亩，余下376亩为旱地。[1]
