文星明村地处镇境东北部，在长春镇与下浒镇的交界处，离镇区约14公里。全村由主村与六个自然村组成。[1][2]

地名[edit]

一说，宋代朱熹曾居此地，观天象后有「文星其复明乎」之语，村名由此而来。另一说，村名取自元人程钜夫诗句中的「文星明」一词。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月公社化时期，此地设为文星明生产大队。1984年8月恢复乡政府，大队随即改称文星明村并组成村民委员会，原大队就此撤销。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村庄海拔近400米，耕地2150亩，林地7300亩，其中水田750亩，旱地400亩。全村分属265户，合计978人，其中236人为少数民族，约占全部人口的四分之一。[2]

文化[edit]

主村内保存有明清时期的古民居建筑群。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年6月，本村列入「福建省第四批省级传统村落」名单。[1]
