白鹭村是福建省宁德市霞浦县沙江镇下辖的行政村，位于沙江镇东南方向十多公里处，南邻围江村，北接厚首村。全村307户，分为7个村民小组，只设1个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，相传南朝宋少帝曾由此过渡，此地先后称作「得渡」「福江」，后因白鹭众多，改称白鹭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月，全国推行人民公社化，原农业社改为生产大队，当年于此立起白鹭生产大队。[1]

1984年8月恢复乡级政权、政社分开，白鹭生产大队改称白鹭村，由村民选出村民委员会；此后生产大队撤销，改设白鹭村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

全村307户，博雅地名网载总人口1336人。陆地面积约0.15平方千米，海域面积6500多亩。[2]

村民的收入主要依靠养殖海带、海蛎和柚子，另有森林面积3600多亩。[2]
