梅洋村是福建省宁德市霞浦县沙江镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西部，距县城20多公里，离镇政府约4公里。村庄背山面海，县道982穿村而过。全村339户，博雅地名网载有1341人。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，早年韩姓先祖迁居此地，在村前土坡上垦种梅树，村名原作梅楹村。后因村前有一片洋田，改称今名梅洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月，全国推行人民公社化，原农业社改为生产大队，当年于此立起梅洋生产大队。[1]

1984年8月恢复乡级政权、政社分开，梅洋生产大队改称梅洋村，由村民选出村民委员会；此后生产大队撤销，改设梅洋村民委员会。[1]

人口与姓氏[edit]

全村339户，共6个村民小组。韩姓约占全村人口的65%，李、陈两姓约占25%，其余为十几种姓氏。[1][2]

地理与经济[edit]

村域面积约5.3平方千米，滩涂围垦养殖面积2000多亩，林地面积2506亩，耕地1965亩（含水田）。[2]

村里以虾塘养殖为主，养殖的品种有蛏、九节虾、白对虾和蟹等；种植业以柚子和其他水果为辅。[2]

荣誉[edit]

梅洋村于2021年11月经福建省爱卫办评定，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；同年12月，又被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。[1]
