沙塘里村位于福宁湾西岸，距县城约5公里，是城区发展的腹地。博雅地名网将其列为松山街道下辖村，该村于2020年6月划归松山街道管理，此村在沙江镇的村庄名单中，由松山街道管理。[1][2][3]

村内以紫菜养殖为支柱产业，紫菜养殖面积逾4000亩。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村子建在潮水冲积形成的天然沙堤之内，故名沙塘里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月，全国推行人民公社化，原农业社改为生产大队，当年于此立起沙塘里生产大队。[1]

1984年8月恢复乡级政权、政社分开，沙塘里生产大队改称沙塘里村，由村民选出村民委员会；此后生产大队撤销，改设沙塘里村民委员会。[1]

2020年6月，村划归松山街道管理。[1]

人口与地理[edit]

全村有573户，11个村民小组，博雅地名网载有1863人，未注明统计口径；常住人口820人。全村土地面积约2.54平方千米，森林覆盖率约九成（90%），山地2200亩之外，另有耕地1032亩和旱地580亩。[2]

交通与设施[edit]

东冲路、228国道等道路穿行于村庄之间，城郊公交线路也经过村内，村内交通便捷。[1][2]
