涵江村是福建省宁德市霞浦县沙江镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域南部，背靠葛洪山，南邻东吾洋，距县城约16公里，省道961线穿村而过。全村6016人，1660户，共13个村民小组。[1][2][3]

村民以海上养殖和陆上种植为主业，海带、海参、紫菜、牡蛎等是养殖的主要品种，晚熟荔枝和茶叶是陆上的主要作物。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村后山形似蚶，村前澳口海滩产蚶，原名「蚶澳里」。后来村中有溪流，经土堡下的一个大涵洞流入大海，遂改称涵江。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月，全国推行人民公社化，原农业社改为生产大队，当年于此立起涵江生产大队。[1]

1984年8月恢复乡级政权、政社分开，涵江生产大队改称涵江村，由村民选出村民委员会；此后生产大队撤销，改设涵江村民委员会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

村域耕地约1505亩，山地约4249亩，浅海滩涂约8600亩，海区养殖面积约3600亩。[2]

养殖的品种有海带、海参、龙须菜、紫菜、牡蛎和大黄鱼，村里有海带、海参加工厂6家。陆上种植以晚熟荔枝为主，兼有茶叶。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年10月，涵江村被确定为「2023年度宁德市一村一品专业村」；同年12月，又被认定为「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」，主导产品为晚熟荔枝。[1]
