竹江村是福建省宁德市霞浦县沙江镇下辖的行政村，位于东吾洋中的一座岛上，是岛屿村落，四面环海，属传统的渔耕村落。全村辖983户，3786人（博雅地名网）。[1][2]

村民以养殖海带、海蛎、紫菜为主，岛上保存有前澳天后宫和汐路桥两处省级文物保护单位。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，此岛早先称「筑屿」，因形状像「筑」得名；岛上多产竹子，又改称「竹屿」；后因濒临东吾洋，再改名竹江。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据霞浦县人民政府网站，自南宋起，先民陆续在岛上定居。[3]

1958年8月，全国推行人民公社化，原农业社改为生产大队，当年于此立起竹江生产大队。[1]

1984年8月恢复乡级政权、政社分开，竹江生产大队改称竹江村，由村民选出村民委员会；此后生产大队撤销，改设竹江村民委员会。[1]

人口与行政[edit]

村庄分为前澳、后澳两部分，共六境，即东龙、东安、崇福、龙湾、门西、繁英。陆地面积约0.2平方千米，周边海域面积约25500亩。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

竹江天后宫分前澳、后澳两座，据博雅地名网为清代古建筑。前澳天后宫的县级文物身份定于1986年，省级身份则在2006年取得。[1][3]

竹江汐路桥连接竹江岛与陆地，石板路潮涨时没入水中，退潮后露出。桥全长3651米，始建于清嘉庆十六年（1811年），2009年经福建省公布，成为省级文物保护单位。[3][4][5]

岛上有锣鼓井两口，建于明代，两井相距不足两米，投石入井，前井发出锣声，后井发出鼓声，由此得名。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2017年8月，竹江村进入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录；2019年6月又列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1][3]

2020年12月，竹江村入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单，主导产品为牡蛎。[1]
