仙东村位于溪南镇东北部，村后为笔架山，前面对东吾洋，距镇区约10千米。村名因位于九仙山东侧而来。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
村位于九仙山的东侧，故名仙东。[1]
1958年设仙东生产大队，1984年改为仙东村，并选举产生村民委员会。[1]
2004年11月，霞浦县人民政府常务会议同意从仙东村委会分出，在溪南镇设立南坂回族村委会，即今南坂村。[2]
