芹头村位于溪南镇东部，距镇区约2.5千米，村中以种植茶叶为主。[1]

村地形似琴，初称琴头，后改作芹头。[1]

1958年设芹头生产大队，1984年改为芹头村，并选举产生村民委员会。[1]

产业[edit]

村中山地多辟为茶园，并有多家茶叶加工厂，种植的茶叶品种有福鼎大毫等。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将芹头村列为「2021年福建省卫生村」。同年12月，芹头村被列为「2021年度福建省一村一品示范村」，主导产品为白茶。[1]
