渔洋垾村属长春镇管辖，地处东吾洋东岸，沿霞吕交战公路分布，北邻渔洋里村，另与秋竹岗村接壤。[1]

「垾」指小堤，多用于地名。村子处在海洋内外的分界处，村民以养渔业为主，村名因此而来。[1]
