地名[edit]
村子背靠山、面朝海，附近多有海湾岔口，因而得名后岐。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
沈海高速公路枢纽从村前穿过，村道则连接水门“联七线”和973县道。全村共271户，人口1048人，下设5个村民小组。村中姓氏以王姓和艾姓较多。[2]
耕地有1545亩，山地约16200亩，森林覆盖率为56%，村域面积合计10.8平方公里。[2]
产业[edit]
村前福宁湾的滩涂与浅海域养殖紫菜，滩涂上培育蛏苗。村民另养殖生蚝、南美白对虾，也从事近海捕捞。柚子和茶叶也有种植。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年公社化时，此地设后岐生产大队。1984年政社分开后，大队改称后岐村，同时产生村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予后岐村2021年福建省卫生村称号。[1]
