东关村是霞浦县松港街道下辖的行政村，位于县城城区，处在松港街道与松城街道的交界处，属于被城区包围的城中村。全村面积约2.6平方公里，村中五个自然聚落依次为后墩、县下塘、下街、上街和头桥。[1][2]

地名[edit]

村子旧时有塔，称作塔旺街。1981年地名普查时，因其位于县城东面，又因村委会驻在东关，便定名为东关。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年以后，此地归东关人民政府管辖。1955年农业户分出，成立东关大队；1958年又与居委会合并，归东关大队管委会统辖。1967年分开，改名东风大队。1984年，村子改为东关村委会。[1]

人口与生活[edit]

村中常住的农业人口为3381人，共970户，分为十三个村民小组。村党支部有党员72名，村民代表59名。[2]

借着县城二期规划建设的契机，村里硬化了村道、绿化了环境，并建起路灯和纳凉点。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将东关村命名为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
