龙贤社区位于县城南区，处在新城与旧城的交接处，是从高速公路互通口进入城区时最先经过的社区。[1]

地名[edit]

社区由万贤居委会划出，同万贤、集贤、兴贤合称「万龙集兴」，社区名即由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里于2003年7月设龙贤居委会，次年改称龙贤社区居委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年，龙贤社区被司法部、民政部命名为第八批「全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。博雅地名网记为2月公布，百度百科记为3月命名，两说并存；百度百科另载该称号于2023年经复核继续保留。[1][2]
