历史沿革[edit]

社区名称取兰田溪和五里亭两处地名各一字：「兰」指香草与兰花，「亭」指亭阁，合起来寓意亭阁周边草木茂盛。[2]

社区的居民委员会于2006年1月17日设立，此后名称未变。[2]

2021年2月，社区在「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单中上榜。[2]

2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[2]
