历史沿革[edit]
村后有一片森林，林下有水田，村落建在田间，村名由此而来。[1]
1958年设大队，1984年转为村委会建制。[1]
人口民族[edit]
据2022年12月发布的村情简介，全村165户638人，其中党员23名，设9个村民小组。[3]
经济[edit]
村内林地2884亩，其中竹林800多亩，耕地498亩，茶园约1000亩。[3]
茶叶是村中的主要经济来源，稻谷和甘薯为粮食作物。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内有栲树1株、红豆杉8株，所在山中出产可供开采的散光青石。[2]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把林下洋村定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
