历史沿革[edit]
村名来自村中地势平坦、田洋居多的特点，村民多以种田为生。[1]
1958年至1965年间此地曾称乡，1966年成立大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
据2022年12月发布的村情简介，村中有387户，人口1387人，并注明目前常住人口为600余人，共设16个村民小组。[2]
经济[edit]
村内耕地面积2350亩，其中水田1100亩，林地5260亩，竹林150亩。[2]
村民种植稻谷和甘薯，并产香菇、茶叶。[1]
荣誉[edit]
该村在2022年10月由福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
