莒洲下村原为洪口乡下辖的行政村。因洪口水电站建设，村民在2006年至2007年间整体迁出，村庄现已淹没。[1]
旧时状况[edit]
移民之前，该村共含莒赖头、岐兜、马坑里、墓岗、金钟渡及本村在内的6个自然村，设7个村民小组，合计161户、694人。[1]
人文古迹[edit]
清代，村中出过书法家谢广澍。村内古民居多幢，谢世棱故居便在其中。此外还有谢、彭两姓的宗祠，以及一口古井。这些建筑均已淹没。[1]
