莒洲上村原为洪口乡下辖的行政村。因洪口水电站建设，村民在2006年至2007年间迁往七都镇秋山尾、霍童镇霍童村的移民安置点及城区，村庄现已淹没。[1]

旧时状况[edit]

移民之前，村子包括莒洲上、为门、溪兜三处自然村，分为5个村民小组。那时全村有673人、151户，耕地340亩，林地则有4257亩。村民的生计以农业为主，并经营商贸运输、漂放木材，也从事旅游。[1]

古建筑[edit]

村内原有清代站楼台、古城墙和武圣庙等建筑，村庄淹没后这些建筑也随之沉入水下。[1]
