洪口村是洪口乡下辖的行政村，位于霍童溪上游。因洪口水电站建设，全村人口在2006年至2007年间迁出，未被淹没的原址即为乡政府驻地。村辖洪口、朱家洋、岭兜、柏洋等5个自然村。[1][2]

水库移民[edit]

2005年移民时，全村共305户、1251人。村民迁往七都镇秋山尾与霍童镇霍童村的移民安置点，也有人迁入城区。[1][2]

历史[edit]

村子临霍童溪，历史上以放排的方式运送木材和竹子，这一运输方式一直延续到上世纪八九十年代。[1]

村中曾有多人参加红军；1938年，村民参与北山抗日。可考的烈士有张建东、谢红第、李成起等人。[2]
