朝阳村是洪口乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境南部，朝鱼岗山北侧，海拔670米。村名取自1966年与圣阳大队合并时各取的一字，此前曾称朝儒、朝鱼。全村辖比岗、岐头、圣阳、王加洋、必礁坑和朝阳村6个自然村。[1][2]

1966年，朝阳村设为大队；1984年改为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

村子海拔670米，耕地123亩，林地13000亩。[1][3]

村内户籍人口约693人，共245户。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中保留着18世纪中期修建的祠堂一座。[1]

岐头自然村内有临时苏维埃宁德政府旧址，村里依托这处旧址发展红色旅游，并改善了基础设施。[1][3]
