上堡村是福建省宁德市蕉城区虎贝镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西部，村中公路可通往乡镇与市道公路。村所在地海拔860米，辖4个自然村。村名由民国时期的保甲制度演变而来。[1][2]

地名[edit]

民国时实行保甲制，村名初定为“上保”。因“保”与“堡”同音，遂演变为上堡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年组建生产大队，1984年改设村民委员会。[1]

红色遗迹[edit]

村内坑里至桃源路中有“桃源亭”一景，是老区根据地的遗迹。红军战士曾在此一带多次取得胜利。[2]
