虾荡尾村是福建省宁德市蕉城区三都镇下辖的行政村，位于青山岛东南部，在镇区东13.9公里处。村落依山傍海，沿山分布，村民以渔业为主。[1]

名称由来[edit]

村名原称虾姑同，后因当地渔民用一种特殊的荡网作业捕捞，改称虾荡尾。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村于1958年设大队，1984年改设村委会。渡口于2006年10月获蕉城区政府批准设立。[1]

经济[edit]

村内海水养殖鳗苗、黄瓜鱼、海带和龙须菜。村情简介称本村为三都镇最大的渔业村、连家船渔民村。[1]

文化[edit]

村内房屋约200多幢，多为砖混楼房，是解放后连家船渔民陆续上岸后建成的。村中有完小一所、医疗站4所，有基督教教堂一座。村东南部有避风港一处，建于1984年，并筑有防浪堤。[1]
